Terms of service for properties
Last updated: October 2026
Who we are
iQuota is a service provided by MVPT LABS IIDEAS SL ("iQuota", "we"). Contact: hello@iquota.io. These terms apply to hotels, apartments, villas and other accommodation providers (the "Property") that subscribe to iQuota. They are business-to-business terms.
The service
iQuota loads the Property's own contract (room types, rates, availability, board, policies) with the help of AI, and publishes it as the Property's AI booking agent (an MCP server) and as an official booking page on iquota.io. AI assistants and travellers can then check live availability and prices and book directly, with payment at the Property. The Property also gets an extranet to manage its contract, rates and bookings, booking notification emails and an AI publication certificate.
No commission
iQuota charges no commission on bookings. The Property only pays its annual subscription. Travellers pay the Property directly; iQuota never handles the payment of the stay.
What we do not guarantee
AI assistants, their app and connector directories and search engines are run by third parties (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, xAI, Perplexity, Google or Microsoft), who decide on their own whether and how they show or recommend any service. iQuota applies to and works with them, but does not guarantee any particular visibility, ranking, traffic or number of bookings.
The Property's responsibilities
The Property is responsible for the accuracy of the content, rates, availability, taxes and policies it publishes through iQuota, and must honour every booking confirmed at the published price and conditions. It is responsible for collecting payment, for the stay itself, for its licences and for complying with tourism, consumer and tax law. It must keep its extranet credentials secure.
Content licence
The Property grants iQuota a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, adapt, translate and publish the content it provides (texts, photos, rates, policies) for the purpose of providing the service, including to AI assistants and search engines, for as long as the subscription is active. The Property confirms it holds the rights to that content.
Plans and prices
Subscriptions are annual. Plans: Basic €290, Hotel €590 and Plus €990 per year and per property, with the features described on iquota.io at the time of purchase. Prices exclude VAT and other applicable taxes. The subscription is invoiced in advance and paid by bank transfer or by the payment method we indicate, within 15 days of the invoice date.
Trial
We may offer a free trial period (90 days unless agreed otherwise). At the end of the trial the Property may subscribe to a plan; if it does not, its publication is suspended.
Sales to travel companies (API)
Only if the Property opts in (in its listing or when approving it), iQuota may also offer its rooms through its API to travel agencies, bed banks, tour operators and other travel companies, at the same rates and conditions. These partners may add their own margin to the price they show their customers; the Property receives the same amount as in a direct booking, with no commission. The Property can opt out at any time; bookings already made are kept.
Founding Hotels programme
Properties admitted to the Founding Hotels programme (limited to 30 places) use the service free of charge until 30 June 2027, with no card and no commitment. Before that date we will ask whether they wish to continue. If they do, they subscribe at the founder price of €145 per year (excluding VAT), whatever their number of rooms, which is kept for as long as the subscription stays active without interruption. If they do not, their publication is suspended at no cost. Bookings made by the iQuota team to show the property how bookings arrive are marked as TEST and cancelled straight away.
Renewal and cancellation
The subscription renews automatically for another year unless either party gives notice at least 30 days before the renewal date, by email to hello@iquota.io or from the extranet. We remind the Property before each renewal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; amounts already paid are not refunded, except where iQuota ends the service without cause, in which case we refund the unused part.
Non-payment and suspension
If an invoice is unpaid 15 days after its due date, iQuota may suspend the Property's publication until payment is received. Bookings already confirmed are not affected.
Personal data
For bookings, the Property is the data controller of its guests' data and iQuota acts as its processor: we receive the lead guest's name, email, phone and stay details only to pass them to the Property and manage the booking, under the Property's instructions, with appropriate security, using sub-processors for hosting, email and AI, and deleting or returning the data when the service ends unless the law requires us to keep it. See also our privacy policy.
Availability of the service
We work to keep the service available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may update or improve the service, and will notify material changes in advance.
Liability
Except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence, iQuota's total liability under these terms is limited to the amounts paid by the Property in the 12 months before the event, and iQuota is not liable for indirect damages or loss of profits.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will notify the Property by email at least 30 days before the changes apply. If the Property does not agree, it may cancel before they apply.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be submitted to the courts of iQuota's registered office, unless the law provides otherwise.
